Our Last Show

Our Last performance on the road was fun, I think everyone was a little giddy about returning to our homes and families. And it was an interesting show. We were in Minnesota and it was interesting to feel like they were laughing at us more than with us!! One of the phenomenon of the show is that no matter how quiet a house, we always get applause for the line "The Illinois Toll ways GIVE you money", not here in MN. I Was surprised that they seemed to approve of a Jesus that looks like Brett Favre. The Guys thought Becca and I would look good for our final performance sporting these Packer colored boas - Bill and Craig both enjoyed their last 'booths' And we had a good time in our final, mostly sold-out house. After the final show we headed back to the hotel, had a final soak in the hot tub and all got together to catch the end of the Oscars. Surprisingly it was the first time all eight of us relaxed together and had a drink in the same place at the same time! Well, better late than never!


A few words about "The King". Becca Bill and Craig bought this little guy somewhere around Middleton. Since then he has graced the set in a number of places like each bait bucket, the ice scooper bucket, the wood crate, both seating crates and even in the stove. But for our final performance Bill thought it was time to finally drown the king. So he spent our last show in Doug's ice hole. Doug tried, but could not hook him!
I guess we have a new 'one-that-got-away!
