Eagle River

We enjoyed our time in Eagle River last year and we enjoyed it again this year. Jimmy, Katherine and I in the bus had lunch at a wonderful coffee shop/cafe called Brew Moon, unique sandwiches and wraps, home made ingredients and very tasty! Across the street from the cafe was the Eagle River Ice Castle. How often do you see an actual Ice castle?! The people who took this picture of the three of us offered to move their snow-mobile first, but since we were in the snow-mobile capital of the US, we were happy to have it in the picture with us!

The hotel rooms have been renovated since last year and now include the comfiest beds on the tour so far! We can see the theatre from the hotel, so the only way to get to the theater quicker is to go by snowmobile! Like last year, the people here are very nice, the theater is good and it was our favorite booth last year. We had a lot of fun again this year! The audience was a little older than our usual crowd, but they were smart and laughed A LOT. Before the show they had a little drawing and gave two lucky audience members 3 dozen roses! Bachelors/ Valentines day... it works! Overall, this is a great stop for us -

Up next... Wausau.
